Termix covers a lot of ground. This page is a map of what's documented, grouped by area.

Authentication​

Local accounts, SSO providers (OIDC, LDAP, GitHub, Google), two factor auth, RBAC sharing, and SSH certificate login. See Authentication.

Networking​

Tunnels, host metrics, Docker management, SSL, Tailscale, port knocking, and Wake on LAN. See the Networking pages in the sidebar for each one.

Terminal​

Appearance and fonts, tmux integration, the command palette, snippets, macros, command history, a local terminal in the desktop app, split screen, session recording, and session sharing. See the Terminal pages in the sidebar for each one.

Fleets​

Group hosts and act on all of them at once: run a command everywhere, push and pull files, install packages, and collect an inventory. See Fleets.

AI​

An assistant that can read your setup and propose changes for you to approve. Off until an admin and then you turn it on. See AI Assistant.

Files & Hosts​

Proxmox guest import, credentials, connection defaults, file manager trash, and bulk importing hosts from JSON. See the Files & Hosts pages in the sidebar for each one.

Dashboard​

A customizable home screen built from cards, including a network topology graph. See Dashboard.

API​

API keys for scripting against the Termix API. See API Keys.

Other things worth knowing​

  • Admin Settings. Click your username in the bottom left, then Admin Settings, to reach anything admin only, like SSO providers, RBAC roles, and database export/import.
  • Split screen. Show up to six tabs at once in one view. See Split Screen.
  • Workspaces. Save a set of tabs and their layout, then reopen the lot in one click. See Workspaces.
  • Persistent tabs. Turn this on in your user profile to keep your open tabs after a refresh.
  • Command line. Manage Termix from your shell with the termix CLI. See CLI.
  • Remote desktop. RDP, VNC, and Telnet all run through guacd. See Remote Desktop.
